Refinishing & Repairs

Harris Woodworks uses a No-Dip stripping technique in order to prevent damage to veneers and solid wood pieces. Once the old finish is stripped, the wood is neutralized. All proper repairs are made before a new stain and finish are applied. Proper repairs include, but are not limited to, regluing, veneer replacement, reproduction of damaged or missing pieces, and intricate carving. After all proper repairs have been made and the furniture has been restored to it’s original state, a new stain and finish is applied. A lacquer based finished is applied to ensure durability that will last for years to come.
